I put together a little history of NGPC homebrew over the last 25 years or so - there are downloads or links for most games there

Oh my gosh! This is an incredible article! I've never seen the entire list of NGPC homebrew games, and some of them look very cool and interesting. Someone like Super Puzzle Fighter, Tutenkahm, Neo Block Dude or Bomberman!

I’d thought of doing something similar in the past, but in the end I gave it up.

Thanks for your article and thanks for the recognition about my "C template" :D

The guy writing asteroids, tutenkahm etc is using your template, which is a nice full circle moment

Did you ever get anywhere with your game projects?

With my template? Wow I didn't know! I feel good knowing that someone is using my template :-D, today is a good day hahaha.

Did you ever get anywhere with your game projects? => nope, I've some ideas and I had been working in the past in two projects, but in the end, I was the only one involved in it and it became a burden.

I've this as a "pending task". Two projects on the table like "RILH" (a dungeon crawler game similar to Legend of Grimrock but easier) and "BloodStigma", an isometric action RPG game. Both are "huge" projects for only one person, but well, we'll see..

I could always do with some music or graphics work?

I've got an isometric game in early stages - Spelunky Monkey - I'm aiming for a gauntlet/diablo feel, but my main character and all npcs will be cute monkeys. Other than that, I'm going for a completely straight medieval dungeon crawl - so, rats, spiders, zombies whatever
